The District Collector and Chairman, District Health Society / NTEP, Thanjavur has invited applications for temporary TB Health Visitor posts on contract basis under the National TB Elimination Programme. The term is 11 months, which may be renewed for the next 11 months based on performance. Only permanent residents of Thanjavur district are eligible, and selected candidates may have to work anywhere in Thanjavur district as required.

Educational qualification / கல்வித் தகுதி
- Graduate in Science
- OR Intermediate (10+2) in Science with experience of working as MPW / LHV / ANM / Health worker, or a certificate or higher course in health education / counselling
- OR Tuberculosis Health Visitor's recognised course
- AND certificate course in computer operation (minimum two months)
- Preferred: Training course for MPW or recognised Sanitary Inspector's course
- Must be a permanent resident of Thanjavur district
