Several District Climate Change Missions in Tamil Nadu have each called for one Technical Assistant on a contract basis for 19 months. The post, qualification and selection steps are almost the same in every district, so we have put all nine notices on one page. What changes from district to district is the last date and where to send the application; both are in the table below. You can apply only in the district where you live.
Each district publishes its own notification in the Recruitment section of its district website (for example perambalur.nic.in or tiruppur.nic.in). Read your own district's notice before applying, because addresses, e-mail IDs and age cut-off dates differ.
Our note: This post suits graduates in life sciences, environmental science, forestry or a related subject who can type in Tamil and English and are comfortable with office work such as data entry, files and reports. Shortlisted candidates usually face a typing test and an interview, so practise typing in both languages. Keep self-attested copies of your degree, mark sheets, community certificate (if relevant), experience letter, Aadhaar and a short CV ready in one PDF if you are applying by e-mail, and use the e-mail subject line given in your district notice. Send it a day or two before the last date; late applications are usually not considered.

Educational qualification / கல்வித் தகுதி
- Undergraduate degree in Life Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Ecology, Forestry, Wildlife, Public Policy or a similar / allied field
- Basic typing skill in Tamil and English
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience (preferably in a Government office) gets priority
- Must be a resident of the district you apply to
Age limit / வயது வரம்பு
- Should not have completed 40 years. The date on which age is counted differs by district (for example Tiruppur: as on 01-10-2026; Perambalur: as on 26-10-2026; Virudhunagar: as on the last date). Check your district notice.

No application fee is mentioned in the notices we checked (Perambalur states no fee). Confirm in your district notice.

2. Prepare your CV or the district's application form, with self-attested copies of the documents listed above.
3. Send it to the e-mail ID or office address given for your district, before that district's last date. Use the e-mail subject line given in the notice.
4. Give a working mobile number and e-mail ID; shortlisted candidates are called for the typing test and interview.
